A driver's license for a scooter is required, but only in certain cases. Drivers who already have a car\u2019s driver's license do not need one. The scooter license, category AM, was introduced only in 2013. People who were 18 years old before that year do not need a scooter license, meaning those born before January 19, 1995, do not need a license.
